How to Join a Live Zoom PAT Testing Course and Joining Instructions.

 

Please join the session 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. This allows the tutor to admit you smoothly and prevents any disruption to the class if you join late.

Session Details:

• Start Time: 9:30 AM
• Approximate Finish: 4:30 PM

 

Important Notes:

• You will be placed in a waiting room until the tutor admits you.
• Please have your ID ready, along with your PAT Tester and the required paperwork (either printed or accessible digitally).

 

Steps to Join the Zoom Meeting:

 

1. Click the meeting link below, or copy and paste it into your browser.
2. When prompted, open or run the Zoom app.
3. Enter the passcode when asked.
4. Allow Zoom permission to access your computer’s microphone and camera.

Please print one copy per person or have access to view and use digitally. of the following:

Items Required on the Day:

 

1. One Class I item (e.g. kettle, toaster, or PC)
2. One Class II item (e.g. drill, charger, or DVD player – look for the “box-within-a-box” symbol on the serial plate)
3. One IEC lead (kettle lead)
4. One extension lead
5. Your PAT tester!

 

Additional Notes:

 

• Please have your photo ID ready to show at the start of the session.
• Ensure your PAT tester is available and ready for use during the training.
