Course overview

Who is the Birmingham PAT testing course for?

Facilities teams, landlords and new testers across the West Midlands. Wolverhampton, Solihull, Coventry, Walsall and Dudley all use this venue. You do not need to be an electrician. Leicester has its own open day if that is the shorter drive.

  • What you'll learn

Electrical safety, regulations and responsibilities, appliance classes I/II/III, insulation and earthing, earth leakage and run tests, load tests, and how to record results correctly.

  • How the day runs

Morning theory, then hands-on testing of real appliances on real PAT testers — yours or ours — finishing with an assessment. Your UKRS certificate follows within 7–10 days. Typically 9:30–4:30.

  • Not convenient in Birmingham?

We run the same course at 21+ UK venues, live online via Zoom, or on-site at your premises — we come to you, when and where you want.

PAT training in Birmingham

Why train with us in Birmingham?

You train at Birmingham City's stadium, with on-site parking and a straight run from the M6 or M42 whichever side of the city you start.

It is a busy room: facilities staff, landlords and people setting up a testing business on the same tables. If the next date is down to a last seat, book Zoom or the following Birmingham day rather than waiting for a cancelled class that is not coming.

Delegates regularly join our Birmingham course from Wolverhampton, Solihull, Coventry, Walsall, Dudley and across the West Midlands — and if another location suits you better, the same course runs at 24 venues across the UK.
