Our 1 day PAT training course is designed to allow anyone to learn the necessary practical skills and knowledge to carry out the inspection and testing of electrical equipment to meet the electrical safety requirements of all industries.
The course is based on the IET Code of Practice and is made as practical as possible with the emphasis on hands-on learning. Delegates will receive a certificate of training and competence that is accredited by UKRS. upon successful completion of a 30 question multiple choice test and practical assessment.

Historically our most popular PAT training option when there is more than one person that needs training. Very simply, you tell us where and when you want the training, we then deliver the training and we bring everything we need to run the course.

TTS PAT Course Programme.
Taught by our qualified and experienced PAT test trainers, you will be taught everything you needed to know how to PAT test and be a competent person.
This UKRS course is suitable for all, even people with no electrical experience.
Certification
Successful candidates will receive a UKRS accredited Certificate, Competence in Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
Length
The course will usually commence at 9 am, finishing at approximately 4/5 pm. This course runs over one day.
Location
This course can either be on-site or we run this around the UK in many locations.

To do PAT testing you need to complete some training and be assessed as competent. Most people after such training could become a PAT tester.
Everyone's a PAT Testing Expert!
Any PAT testing course worth doing will follow the IET Code of Practice (Currently 4th edition). Please ensure your “PAT Testing Expert” courses follows this.
Do you do an online pat testing course?
We have completed the distance / online PAT testing courses that are out there and we have found that the training is very poor.
We do not believe someone could be competent after such training in PAT testing.
